He believes in the idea that under a desperate extreme situation, where he will manage to save the life of his patient, he will feel confident about the surgeon abilities he possesses. After hearing a story from one of his patients about a wounded savage girl living in the mountains, he comes up with the plan to save her, and also free himself from his fears and disbelief. However, he is not alone.
